Autumn Tips
Strawberry u-pick farms in the Moreton Bay region get very busy on autumn weekends. Weekday visits are quieter and the picking is often better.
Autumn is the best time to buy macadamias in-shell — crack them fresh at home for the sweetest flavour.
Look out for ginger farmers at Caboolture and Redcliffe markets in April and May.
